Tom Hiddleston’s 328.65 minutes of screen time surpasses all other superheroes except Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man
Robert Downey Jr. holds the record for the most screen time in the MCU. It is no surprise considering Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark launched the entire franchise 15 years ago. However, the second in line will come as a surprise to many, as he had limited screen time in the first three phases of the MCU. Tom Hiddleston has clocked the second-highest screen time with 328 minutes.

Hiddleston’s Loki surpassed Chris Hemsworth’s Thor to achieve this feat, thanks to his critically acclaimed Disney+ series Loki. The series provided a fitting conclusion to Loki’s arc from the earlier movies, narrating a brilliant multiversal story in 12 episodes over 2 seasons.

After the grand showdown in Avengers: Endgame, Hiddleston reprised his role in the Disney+ series set in MCU Phase Four. With season one of Loki, Hiddleston almost doubled his screen time in the MCU, appearing on screen for more than 2 hours in that season. Earlier, Hiddleston had never appeared for more than 21 minutes in a single film in Phases One to Three.
The screen time is justified, considering Marvel carefully wove his character arc throughout the course of the movies. Hiddleston went from a villain in Thor and The Avengers to an anti-hero in Thor: The Dark World and Thor: Ragnarok, and finally, to a heroic God in Loki.
