Real Madrid-bound Endrick has revealed his hopes of playing alongside Kylian Mbappe once he joins the Spanish giants in summer.

He will link up with Real Madrid in a £51million deal next summer and after 18 months of waiting, Los Blancos will have their hands on a talent tipped for the top.

Madrid could have two world-class talents arriving through their doors next year amid persistent rumours over their interest in PSG forward Kylian Mbappe.

In November, Madrid denied claims they have held negotiations with the PSG forward Kylian Mbappe ahead of his contract expiring next summer.

However, given their long-standing interest in the World Cup winner, it’s not impossible to suggest that the Spanish giants will try their luck once again.

Whether Mbappe arrives or not, Madrid have secured a gem in Brazilian wonderkid Endrick – who talked up his hopes of playing alongside the French superstar.

On playing with Mbappe, Endrick told The Athletic: ‘Whatever is best for Real Madrid and the entire team, let it be done.

‘Obviously, if I can play with Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo or Kylian [Mbappe] it will be something very good’.

Mbappe will become a free agent at the end of the season as things stand and should he fail to agree new terms with the French side, there will be a host of elite clubs queuing up to secure one of the world’s best players for free.

However, last month, Madrid surprised many by making a rare statement on transfer speculation, opting to deny the rumours and insisting Mbappe was still PSG’s player.

The club said: ‘Given the information recently issued and published by different media outlets, in which there is speculation about alleged negotiations between the player Kylian Mbappe and our club, Real Madrid CF would like to state that this information is completely false and that no such negotiations have taken place. with a player who belongs to PSG.’

Madrid will still be one of the contenders to nab Mbappe next year if no extension with PSG is in the offing – and Liverpool have been one of the surprise names to have been mooted with a shock move for the forward too.

Elsewhere in the interview, Endrick revealed that he was close to joining Premier League side Chelsea, despite having his hopes set on Madrid.

‘At one point, there was a lot of talk about Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe for Madrid and that was when there was strong interest from Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain,’ Endrick says.

‘I was told that it rains a lot in London, but that wouldn’t be a problem because, as my father used to say, I always liked playing in the rain. But I always made it clear to my agent that my dream was Real Madrid.’

‘In Madrid, I would like to win five Champions League titles and La Liga 10 times!’
