Mariah  – who worked with director Brett on her 1999 music video Heartbreaker – even spent time chatting to man of the evening Dawyne Johnson, who gave the singer a kiss on the cheek.

Dwayne, otherwise known as The Rock, cut a buff figure in a tight grey suit.

The 42-year-old star – also known by his wrestling name The Rock – stars as the Greek hero in the upcoming film of the same name and he’s confessed he was shocked to find out what parts of his costume had been made out of.

Speaking on Live! with Kelly and Michael, he said: ‘The beard hair, I’ve got to mention this, this is crazy. The beard wasn’t lace so it had to be put on strips cut in tri, quarter inch wide, piece-by-piece.

‘So I asked my Italian designer, ‘Matteo what is this?’ And he goes, ‘Oh, it’s the hair from a yak’. It’s very expensive and very fine hair and I said, ‘Yak?’ And he says, ‘Yes, yak’. The Pain & Gain actor – whose usual hairstyle is that of a shaved head – has long flowing locks in the movie and he’s revealed it took nearly four hours to put the wig on every day on set.

He explained: ‘It’s a system, it’s a process, it’s an experience. Everyday for five months. Every day, three and a half hours, every day.

‘Three and a half hours every morning. So I would get up at half three and then I would eat and train again, as I had to train twice a day for the role, and then I would go and sit in hair and make up for three and a half hours for the transformation.’

The Sports Illustrated cover girl was hard to miss in a tight maroon floor length gown.

Featuring a simple tight low cut tank shape at the top, the dress turned up its 𝑠e𝑥y factor from the waist down as the material changed to a cut out mesh that was entirely sheer.

However, while she may play the bravest man in the world’s wife in Hercules, the model did not feel as fearless about showing all in the see-through gown.

Instead, the Russian-born beauty wore a nude slip that protected her modesty until midway down her stunning long legs.

The brunette paired the dress with a pair of unusual black lace up heeled booties, which were probably not the best choice for a statement making dress.

The 28-year-old had worn the same heels the previous day to promote the film on Extra, except wore them with a short white long sleeved dress, allowing the heels to be the statement making piece.

Fortunately, Irina left everything else very simple wearing no other accessories and tying her hair back into a simple chignon.

Directed by Brett Ratner and adapted from the graphic novel Hercules: The Thracian Wars by Steve Moore, Irina plays Hercules’ wife.

‘So I was very excited to have such a strong, cool man on my side for my first role. It was just a dream come true.’

Irina playfully added: ‘It’s Greek mythology and my name is Greek. Irina is Greek so it is just destiny.’
