Controversy surrounding the amount of money Francis Ngannou receive when he fought Tyson Fury on the Boxing floor. Is it true that if Francis Ngannou loses, he will leave with nothing ?

Although not highly appreciated by experts, Francis Ngannou’s match with Tyson Fury still brought in the amount of money millions of boxers dreamed of.

The confrontation between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou will mark the third time a boxing legend has accepted a challenge from an “outsider” – former heavyweight MMA champion Francis Ngannou.

In the eyes of experts, Francis Ngannou clearly has no chance with the current WBC heavyweight title holder, undefeated in 34 matches, having overcome famous names like Wladimir Klitschko, Deontay Wilder, Derek Chisora, Dillian Whyte.

According to British media, Tyson Fury is guaranteed an amount of about 50 million US dollars for his fight with Francis Ngannou. Meanwhile, Francis Ngannou can bring home 10 million US dollars – many times the amount the Cameroonian boxer once earned at the UFC.

While competing for the UFC, the biggest amount of money Francis Ngannou earned was 600,000 US dollars for defeating Ciryl Gane at UFC 270, which was also the last time “The Predator” participated in the largest MMA tournament on the planet.

Since parting ways with the UFC due to not reaching an agreement to extend his contract, Francis Ngannou has joined the Professional Fighters League (PFL MMA) and aims for a match with Tyson Fury. The 37-year-old boxer sought the help of legendary Mike Tyson to prepare for this important match.

The match with Francis Ngannou is only part of Tyson Fury’s fight plan in the second half of 2023. Currently, “The Gypsy King” has signed a contract to unify the heavyweight championship titles with Oleksandr Usyk – The Ukrainian boxer owns 4 WBA Super, WBO, IBF and IBO belts.

The match between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, attracting special attention. Football stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Ronaldo de Lima, and Rio Ferdinand all confirmed that they will participate in this event. Oleksandr Usyk also attended directly and promised to have a face-to-face with Tyson Fury before their confrontation.
