And on Tuesday Serena Williams showed out to usher in a new era of female tennis players.

The 37-year-old was out in Soho, New York for the Queen of the Future event and brought along her 23-month-old daughter Olympia.

The tennis legend was decked out in sapphire blue active wear, while carrying her daughter into the event.

She wore tight blue biker shorts and a tight white Nike Air shirt. The blue theme continued with her windbreaker jacket, that featured a yellow plaid pattern band her colorful patterned sneakers.

Her blonde hair was down in voluminous waves.

Olympia is Serena’s daughter with tech entrepreneur Alexis Ohanian, whom she wed, a month after their daughters birth, in 2017.

The 23-time-Grand-Slam winner wasn’t the only tennis star in attendance.

On Tuesday not only did the crowd get to see the the world’s best female tennis players but young athletes got to hit the court as well.

The US Open began on Monday and goes through September 8.
