The pop star sang “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)” and “Imperfect for You” in her return to the NBC program
Ariana Grande was the musical guest on last night’s episode of Saturday Night Live, hosted by Josh Brolin. For her musical performances, she did Eternal Sunshine’s “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)” and “Imperfect for You.” The pop star also appeared in two sketches: First, she was in “People Pleaser Support Group,” and she came back to portray Nicole Kidman in a Moulin Rouge parody with Bowen Yang. Watch the performances, sketches, and Grande’s SNL promo video below.
Grande released Eternal Sunshine—her Positions follow-up—on Friday, March 8. She shared only the single “Yes, And?” ahead of the LP’s full release. The pop star was last on Saturday Night Live in 2016, and she made her debut on the NBC program in 2014.
