Tyson Fury grocery shopping video reveals his surprising unhealthy habits

It turns out that the boxing champion faces the same problems as the rest of us

If you ever wondered what a professional boxer buys at the grocery store, it’s not actually that different from the rest of us.

After completing an intense training session, Tyson Fury heads to the grocery store for some post-workout shopping with his wife, Paris. Despite his rigorous cardio regimen, he occasionally indulges in unhealthy choices, which he doesn’t shy away from sharing on his Instagram stories.

The series of snaps from the Gypsy King included he and Paris picking out chocolate spreadice cream and cheese at ASDA, which he called “the highlight of our evening.”

It’s not exactly the meal of champions, but they were shopping to please their family of nine, including seven children: Venezuela, Prince Tyson II, Prince Adonis Amaziah, Prince John James, Valencia, Athena and Prince Rico Harris.

Balling on a budget

Despite an estimated net worth of $65 million, the heavyweight champ was pinching pennies at every opportunity during the shopping trip. “Put them back, crank!” he cried to Paris when she went for an expensive box of ice cream.

She was equally focused on bargain buying, opting for the store brand hazelnut chocolate spread instead of the brand name Nutella. “No, you pay 2.75 for the big jar of ASDA stuff. All the kids moan when you go home, but it’s as good as (Nutella),” she explained to Tyson.

Boris Johnson would be proud!” they joked about their budgeting exploits. “After spending all the money on the Lambo, Paris, I think we need to save on shopping!”

Whether it was the speed at which he reached for some sweets or the desire to cut costs at every opportunity, the Gypsy King proved that a night out at the store for him isn’t so different from the rest of us.
