The 2023 Las Vegas GP is just around the corner, and ahead of the marquee event, the former 7-time F1 world champion, Lewis Hamilton, has made it known that, in his opinion, the three-day event will be wild. The hype around the spectacle has gone over the roof in the last few days.

The Las Vegas GP weekend will officially kick off on the upcoming Friday, but despite this, the noise around it is extremely high. In America, the event has become the talk of the nation, and people have been scrambling all over the place to secure tickets for the event.

Lewis Hamilton recently sat down for an interview with Sky Sports, and while talking about the Las Vegas GP, he added:

I just don’t understand how we are going to move around that place, I don’t know how we will move from the track to the hotel. It’s going to be compact but I think it’s going to be wild.

Looking at the reaction of the Brit, it is quite clear that he is just as excited about the upcoming event as the fans are now.

It’s going to be a wild experience. I think the best thing is just to go with an open mind, and not have any predetermined ideas of what’s it gonna be like.

Lewis Hamilton will eye a podium at the Las Vegas GP

While there are a lot of unknowns heading into the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton would ideally be looking to score a podium finish in front of the fans. Scoring a podium at an inaugural event means a lot to the drivers, and Hamilton will try his best to achieve that.

However, standing in his way would be the two mighty Red Bulls and also a few other drivers. Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez are expected to prove strong at the track, and the lights of Charles Leclerc and company could also turn up at the track with a few surprises of their own.

Taking into account everything that has been discussed above, it is going to be fascinating to see how well Lewis Hamilton would be able to perform in his unpredictable Mercedes W14 at the track. Being the champion driver he is, the spotlight is going to be on him during the upcoming event.
