In the poster, Evans is seen wearing a HYDRA helmet and a mask, along with a black suit with a skull on it. While the star could not explore this twist to the iconic Captain America’s character, it is possible that the MCU may still create a Secret Empire storyline with another actor at the helm.

When asked about which of the films in the MCU appealed to him the most, Evans chose 2014’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier as his favorite among a few other films that were close to his heart. The film sees the superhero facing off against a dangerous threat who is none other than his former friend and HYDRA captive, Bucky Barnes. Speaking to Collider about his satisfaction with how the final product turned out, Evans said,
“I got a lot of love for the Marvel world, so Winter Soldier was something to me that I really was like, ‘Wow, that’s exactly how I wanted that to go.’ So, maybe Winter Soldier.”
The Snowpiercer actor’s choice was also echoed by critics and Marvel buffs, with Captain America: The Winter Soldier becoming a big fan favorite. The movie holds a 90 percent Tomatometer score and a 92 percent audience score on Rotten Tomatoes
