In her first performance since Mac Miller’s death and her split from Pete Davidson, Ariana Grande took the stage for A Very Wicked Halloween, the NBC special celebrating the 15th anniversary of Wicked the Musical. Grande’s performance of “The Wizard and I” was the most anticipated of the night and…whew, girl did she deliver. The look, the green lip, the vocals — I’m shaking.

Talent won! It’s so obvious from this performance how much Grande loves singing this song, and after the tumultuous few months she’s had, she deserves it. And the Wicked stans among us are truly defying gravity right now.
