Kim Kardashian has admitted that co-parenting her four children with ex Kanye West is ‘f***ing hard’.
The former married couple are parents to North, nine, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm, three. You can see Kardashian talk about parenting here:
The 42-year-old appeared on the Angie Martinez IRL podcast where she spoke out about being protective over her kids and the struggles with co-parenting following her split from West.
She said: “Co-parenting is hard. It’s really f***king hard.”
The reality star then went on to say that she tries her hardest to protect her kids from the ‘outside world’ and the media attention surrounding their parents.
“I had the best dad and I had the best memories and the greatest experience and that’s all I want for my kids,” she said before tearing up.
“As long as they can have that, that’s what I would want for them, you know.

“So like if they don’t know things that are being said or what’s happening in the world like why would I ever bring that energy to them. You know, that’s like real heavy, heavy grown up s**t. That they are not ready to, like, deal with.
“And when they are we will have those conversations and I’ll be so prepared but until then I will do anything to keep their life as normal as possible.”
Kardashian and West’s divorce was finalised in November after seven years of marriage.
In their divorce settlement, Kardashian was awarded $200,000 a month in child support – and they will equally split the cost of the children’s medical, educational, and security expenses.
She said: “I definitely protected him [West] and I still will in the eyes of my kids, for my kids.

“So, in my home, my kids don’t know anything that goes on in the outside world.”
The mum-of-four went on to say that she believes one day her kids will thank her for how she’s dealt with the situation.
She told Martinez: “One day my kids will thank me for sitting here and not bashing their dad when I could. All the crazy s**t. They’ll thank me and I’ll privately answer anything that they want to know. It’s not my place anymore to jump in.”
Kardashian also explained how she manages to put on a brave face in front of her kids, but admits that she will ‘have a good cry’ in private.
