Strictly star Bobby Brazier says he is ‘flattered’ after being compared to Harry Styles and Mick Jagger but admits he’s got a long way to go before taking on Hollywood.
BBC viewers have likened the EastEnders actor, 20, to Sir Mick, 80, at the same age because of his snake-hips, pout, and dynamic stage presence, with some fans calling for him to be cast in a biopic about the Rolling Stones legend.
While Bobby says that its ‘great’ and ‘cool’ fans are drawing similarities to him and Mick, as well as Grammy Award winner Harry Styles, 29, he wants to avoid piling on the pressure about the future of his career.
But if he wants to look for reassurance, he only needs to go as far as his Strictly professional dance partner Dianne Buswell, 34, who predicts he will act in Hollywood films one day after realising from the moment they met that he was a ‘star in the making.’
When asked about cracking America, the Strictly finalist replied: ‘I don’t know… I just want to be good at what I do and that’s what is next for me… learning and mastering a craft. Small steps.

‘Both of these people are very cool… I am very flattered… I don’t know what to say but that’s great and cool and I hope that I can be as good at something as they are in their respective fields.’
Dianne added: ‘When I first met him, he was just… there’s something really, really special and I thought he’s a star in the making.
‘The theme of our Show Dance is Bobby goes to Hollywood and I truly believe that one day Bobby will be in Hollywood.
‘I believe he is going to be massive because knowing him and seeing his hard work and the way he is with people, everything about him, the small things make him this beautiful star and even if he doesn’t see it now, I believe he’s going to be something magical.’
Bobby will face former Coronation Street actress Ellie Leach, 22, and West End star Layton Williams, 29, in the Strictly final on Saturday night.
He says he feels ‘lucky’ to have survived this far in the competition after fighting for his place in two dance offs including in the semi-final with Annabel Croft.
And although he admits winning the Glitterball would be the ‘cherry on top’ his dance partner Dianne has other ideas, as after seven years as a Strictly professional, she hopes this could be the season she is crowned victorious.
Bobby said: ‘I feel lucky because the quality is a joke and, in the dance off, I was watching Anabelle and I thought she was flawless, so I feel lucky, and this is what I wanted… I wanted to experience all of Strictly and to know that I’m not going to miss out on a dance and do as many as I possible could have.

‘To win would the cherry on top… the cake is being in the final and having done as much as I possibly can with that… it means a lot to both of us, and it would be another great Strictly experience that I will never forget.’
However, Dianne said: ‘I have dreamed of this moment for many years, and I feel like they have been many times where I’ve thought ‘oh, maybe not this year’ it is my seventh year now and possibly it could happen and I just feel like for Bobby because it is his only chance to do this and I have had such a brilliant time with him and I feel like he really deserves it.’

He was just five years old when his mother Jade, who captivated the hearts of the British public in the Noughties, lost her battle with cervical cancer.
The actor’s tribute left his dad and younger brother Freddie, 19, in tears, as well as much of the nation, as he and Dianne danced barefoot to This Woman’s Work by Maxwell.
Sharing his grief for the first time on a public scale, Bobby said having the chance to perform the expressive number again is something that he is looking forward to.
He said: ‘To be able to dance to that song again and tell a story like that again is great.’
His proud father has supported him throughout his time on Strictly and said by dedicating the dance to Jade that Bobby turned his grief ‘into this understandable, beautiful thing.’

And Bobby says being able to share his Strictly experience with his dad, brother and friends, who have been regular fixtures in the audience on a Saturday night, has been the part he has loved the most about starring in the series.
He said: ‘I have realised that I am so grateful… doing stuff like this is so fun because it’s not just me that experiences it, it is my team, my friends, and family, my nearest and dearest have all experienced it to the same level that I have.
‘I am in the final so they’re in the final and that’s the best thing, I love that so much. To be able to bring my best friends to cool things I am able to do, that makes it fun.’
