Big Hit Music has denied BTS’ involvement in the recent celebrity drug controversies and adult entertainment businesses.On October 26, Big Hit Music stated, “BTS are completely unrelated to the rumors, and they’re not true at all. We’ll respond strongly to the reckless spread of rumors.” Earlier today, media outlets reported on rumors that members of BTS were regular customers at the same adult entertainment business in Gangnam that Lee Sun Gyun and G-Dragon, who are currently undergoing police investigations for illegal drug use, frequented.The business in question is said to have alcohol prices set at 10 million won ($7365.08 USD). Lee Sun Gyun and G-Dragon were booked by police after the head of the business made statements on their drug use. At the same time, suspicious that some of the BTS members were regulars at the business were also raised.BTS fans also released a statement denying the rumors, stating, “We’ll take all possible legal measures, including criminal charges and civil damages, without any leniency or tolerance for the spread of false information and defamation.”
