It’s always hard to say goodbye when someone we love passes away and when it comes to our beloved pets, that stands true as well. The Young and the Restless’ Susan Walters (Diane) recently looked back on the past year since she and her family lost their precious pup.
“Not a day has gone by in the last year that I haven’t missed this dog of a lifetime,” Walters expressed while posting a photo of her dog Oscar.
Back in December of 2022, the CBS soap actress shared the devastating news that Oscar had passed and conveyed how lucky the family was to have had him for 11 years. “He will be with me always,” Walters said. “The epitome of ‘Who rescued who’.”

Prior to that, she posted the most adorable side-by-side picture of Oscar and her granddaughter Nora, both wrapped in blankets, and asked, “Who wore it best?”
Then what appeared to be during some time away from home, the actress shared a shot of her “loverboy,” who she missed so much.
And we couldn’t resist including a pic of Oscar that is one of our faves — one where he was “color coordinated” with the couch upon which he napped and “in his element.”
We send Walters and her family some extra love today.
