It took roughly three to four hours in the makeup chair to transform Robbie into Queen Elizabeth I.
‘The prosthetics are glue and plastic essentially,’ she told ET.
‘It restricted my face and my facial expressions a lot. I felt kind of trapped by this image Elizabeth created for herself. It was poetically resonant.’
