LeBron James is only concerned with his daughter’s presents and is “unbothered” by the Celtics’ Christmas challenge.

On Christmas Day, LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers will face the Boston Celtics in a highly anticipated matchup. The rivalry between the two legendary franchises might not be at the same level of intensity as the 1980s, but the matches still generate a lot of buzz. LeBron James, on the other hand, sought to distance himself from the spotlight by focusing on celebrating Christmas Eve with his family.

LeBron James had just come off an excellent game where he scored 40 points to lead the Lakers over the OKC Thunder on the road, 129-120. On Christmas Day, they will play the Boston Celtics, a rival team of their own, but James stated he is more excited about Christmas Eve than the match itself. Even with all the thrills concerning the game, James admitted that he gets more excited about his daughter Zhuri’s Christmas Eve present opening.

LeBron James said,

“All I care about is tomorrow’s day off. I can give a Damm about Monday. The only thing I care about Monday right now is my daughter waking up and opening her gifts. That’s it. I don’t even, don’t even, please don’t talk to me about Christmas day right now”.

LeBron James, who will play in his 18th Christmas Day game, has practically previously not had the best of time during Christmas matchups. In the games he has played on December 25, James has a career record of 10-7. He has a 2-3 Christmas Day record with the Lakers, which makes things all the more difficult, considering the Celtics are currently atop the Eastern Conference and have won six of their previous seven games.

LeBron James is a proud father to her daughter Zhuri

LeBron James is not only a businessman and an NBA legend, but he is also a proud father of three children. James posted on Instagram in October showcasing his 8-year-old daughter Zhuri Nova’s athletic prowess. He posted three videos of his daughter Zhuri playing volleyball on his Instagram account, showcasing the fact that he is a proud father.

In the first two videos from the Zhuri Nova game, LeBron showed off his eight-year-old daughter’s serving prowess. In the third, he showed her getting ready to defend. But here’s where the fun started. A scream from the NBA legend, “Let’s go, munchkin,” caused his daughter to give him a look that indicated that she was feeling embarrassed.

Following LeBron’s proud support, the reactions on Instagram were swift. Some parents self-identified in their messages by claiming they also tend to act the same when their children play. Regardless, still only 8, LeBron James might have to grow used to the kind of look that he received. In the end, James is proud to have always supported his children’s goals.
