Don’t stop laughing: Nicholas Jackson has a nightmare minute as he misses a golden opportunity and then sees his goal disallowed

Nicholas Jackson, a forward for Chelsea, has a nightmare minute as he misses a golden opportunity and then sees his goal disallowed.’

Conor Gallagher set up the 22-year-old for a goal with a beautiful ball, and all he had to do was beаt the goalkeeper.

However, to the boos of the travelling supporters at Stamford Bridge, the forward missed a chip from Dean Henderson and sent the ball wide.

The ex-Villarreal star was set to experience an even more harrowing ordeal only a minute after that.

Jackson brilliantly finished off a wonderful feed from Thiago Silva after the latter had produced a magnificent cross.

After he celebrated, however, video assistant referees stepped in to nullify his goal since his knee was just slightly offside.

Thankfully, Chelsea won 2-1 thanks to a penalty kιck by Noni Madueke in the 89th minute, so Jackson’s poor luck hasn’t trickled down to his teammates.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side took an early lead thanks to Mykhailo Mudryk, but Michael Olise leveled the score with a superb finish shortly before halftime.

However, Chelsea took all three points, moving them up to tenth place in the Premier League.

In the meantime, Palace’s lead above the relegation zone is as slim as three points.

When Chelsea’s regular penalty takers Cole Palmer and Raheem Sterling were not available, Madueke was called upon to fill in.

The 21-year-old has had a frustrating season thus far, but he scored a penalty when it mattered most, calmly putting the ball past Henderson.

The game was tough, he remarked afterward.

The credit goes to Crystal Palace; they put on a show and were tough to beаt. We were also deserving of credit.

“It was a stiff punishment. I felt secure in my technique and had scored previously in the cup.

You feel the need to play continuously. Coming off the bench should be able to have an effect, just as I did today.

Even though Pochettino has only won two of his previous five Premier League matches as Chelsea’s manager, the Blues have struggled this season.
