Tyson Fury laughed in the face of Braun Strowman after he smashed a table in half during the contract signing for their WWE heavyweight clash in Saudi Arabia.

The lineal heavyweight champion came face to face with his 6ft 8in rival on Monday Night Raw as the two put pen to paper to make their October 31 clash official – which will be Fury’s wrestling debut.

Last week Fury appeared as a surprise guest at Smackdown, and, after trading verbal blows with Strowman, the pair were involved in a brawl in the ring.

The pair managed to refrain from fighting on Monday despite Strowman breaking a table with his fists after Fury vowed to knock him out at WWE’s Crown Jewel event later this month.

‘You say you know a lot about me, so lets make one thing clear right now. I’m not out of my element inside any ring,’ Fury said.

‘And do you know the best thing about it, I’m going to prove that at the Crown Jewel when the heavyweight champion of the world steps into your ring, you’re going to be looking up off your backside because I’m going to knock you out.’

Strowman responded angrily, rising from his chair to look Fury in the eyes before breaking the table with his fists.

Fury then pretended to struggle to snap a pen before walking off laughing.

The self-styled Gypsy King’s venture into WWE is expected to pocket him in the region of £12million and could scupper his planned rematch against Deontay Wilder, as Sportsmail revealed this week.

His promoter Frank Warren admitted he was left in the dark by Fury and is not best pleased with his decision to fight Strowman.

Warren told talkSPORT: ‘What can you say? He went out there to watch it and the next minute he’s involved in it, it’s unbelievable.

‘But that’s Tyson. He’s supposed to be taking a rest and taking it easy, but he’s decided that he wants to do this and he’s going to do it…

‘No he didn’t [discuss it with me]. He’s done it and we’ve discussed it afterwards.

‘I’d be a liar if I said I was pleased with it, I’d prefer him not to do it but he’s doing it.’
