The 46-year-old bronzed star showed off her toned curves in a stunning sequin slit dress with an enticing neckline, yet again flaunting her age-defying figure.

Mariah took centre stage in the Arab playground’s Media City Amphitheatre during the Dubai Jazz Festival, where she was joined by singers including Brit Tom Jones.

The superstar, whose sparkly ensemble was designed by LaBourjoisie, also honored recently deceased British pop icon – and her close friend – George Michael.

The week may not have been an easy one for the star – though she looked completely at ease, just two days after her ecstatic ex-husband Nick Cannon announced the birth of his new son across social media.

The veteran singer previously took centre stage in the Arab playground’s Media City Amphitheatre on Thursday, where she was performing for the first time since Cannon broke his happy news.

Dusting off some of the better known tracks from her extensive back catalogue on Thursday, Mariah looked elegant in a heavily embellished maroon gown that accentuated her famously voluptuous physique.

Seemingly in high spirits, the powerful singer struck a series of coquettish poses beneath the hot amphitheater lights while working her way through a lively set.

Mariah was performing on day two of the event, which kicked off on Wednesday with a performance from British star Tom Jones.

Her latest appearance comes shortly after 36-year-old Nick took to Instagram to share an adorable photo of himself cradling his new son.

He made the announcement of the new bundle of joy with the black and white snap –  and even shared his name.

‘Weeping may endure for a night, but Joy cometh in the morning!’ he wrote. ‘No matter how hard the world may hit you, God always reminds us of our purpose! #TrueHappiness. Welcome to Earth Son!’

The television presenter already shares five-year-old twins – son Moroccan and daughter Monroe – with ex-wife Mariah Carey.

Back in December Nick confirmed that he was expecting a second son with 2010 Miss Arizona Brittany Bell.

At the time Nick admitted to Entertainment Tonight he thinks becoming a father again is outstanding news, even though it is in unexpected circumstances as he and Brittany are not together.

He gushed: ‘It’s outstanding. Honestly they say even in unexpected situations, you still embrace the beauty of bringing a life into this world, because that is what life is all about.’

This all comes at an interesting time as Cannon quit his hosting gig on NBC’s America’s Got Talent following eight seasons just last week after being ‘punished for a joke’.

Sources told TMZ that Cannon was devastated when he learned the show was considering firing him because of a race bit in his recent Showtime special.

‘I grew up like a real n****r. But I honestly believe, once I started doing America’s Got Talent, they took my real n****r card,’ he quipped.

Cannon also joked that the network’s acronym NBC stood for ‘n*****s be careful’.

It was previously reported by TMZ that show producers believed Cannon had ‘disparaged’ them and AGT, and thereby was in ‘breach of contract’, by stating during his stand-up routine that NBC had forbidden him to use the n-word.

The ex-husband of Mariah Carey upon learning of NBC’s reaction took to Facebook on Monday and posted a detailed statement about his departure.

‘I write this from a deeply saddened and dolorous mindset,’ he wrote. ‘After days of deliberating over some extremely disappointing news that I was being threatened by Executives because of a comedy special that was only intended to bring communities together, I was to be punished for a joke.’

‘I find myself in a dark place having to make a decision that I wish I didn’t have to, but as a man, an artist, and a voice for my community I will not be silenced, controlled or treated like a piece of property.’

The ninth season of AGT was slated to begin next month and Cannon remained on recent promotional material for the upcoming season.
