He’s the host of the four-time Emmy nominated show Billy On The Street, which sees him perform hilarious street interviews with celebrity guests.
And comic Billy Eichner posted one of his most iconic episodes on Monday as he chatted up Mariah Carey.
The 41-year-old took to the streets of New York with the singer to spread some holiday cheer and surprise unsuspecting passerbyers before the 49-year-old saved Christmas.

The first stop saw the duo offer a menorah to a pedestrian if he could finish the lyrics to the Dreidel song.
Mariah confessed she ‘wasn’t looking’ at the lyrics as she sung the popular Jewish song – but there appeared to be some confusion over the last line when the passerbyer said: ‘Dreidel I shall play.’
And while according to online reports that appears to be correct, the five-time Grammy winning artist said it was wrong.

‘It’s Dreidel I will play,’ she proudly said meaning Billy took the menorah off the winner – although he was correct.
‘Goodbye! Wrong! Don’t f**l with Mariah’s Hanukkah lyrics,’ said Billy storming off.
The duo were then greeted by two Swedish tourists to which the mother-of-two surprised fans with her ability to speak the language.
‘Woah! My God! Meryl Streep over here with the accents and the languages.’

However all wasn’t smooth sailing after their small tree they were carrying broke, to which the comedian called Christmas over.

‘This is what happens when a Jew tries to celebrate Christmas,’ he continued.
The duo ended up leaving the broken tree on the street, turning it in to a piece of ‘art’ for those walking by.

Billy shared a happy shot with the singer over on his Instagram for his 607K followers.
‘It happened. IT HAPPENED!!!’ he captioned, to which Jess Tyler Ferguson commented: ‘I’m dead.’
When the episode was posted, Billy excitedly captioned on Twitter: ‘IT’S HERE!!! BILLY ON THE STREET with the LEGENDARY @MARIAHCAREY!!! A HOLIDAY GIFT FOR THE WORLD!!!!’
The video release comes as Mariah’s Christmas hit song was officially named number one on the Billboard Hot100 charts on Monday morning.
