The F1 world had erupted into the conspiracies of where Carlos Sainz will be headed to in 2025. However, Ferrari unveiled their car this Tuesday and their drivers seemed satisfied with the progress. Now, the Spaniard has claimed that he has set his sights on the world championship ahead of the season.

The “Smooth Operator” was the only non-Red Bull driver to win a race last year at the Singapore GP, and has an image of being a solid and reliable driver for any team. For his fourth and final year in the Scuderia, he is aiming big to bag the championship home.

I hope it will be a different car. Last year’s car was not enough to fight for a World Championship and the objective this year is to once again have a chance to fight for the World Championship and stand up to Red Bull. For now, in the simulator Positive things are transmitted in the simulator, but until we see where our rivals are, it will be very difficult.Carlos Sainz said as reported by soymotor.com

The 29-year-old is set to be replaced by an incoming Lewis Hamilton from the 2025 season. Without having a confirm seat for the 2025 season, the two-time winner focuses on this season and claim the most out of it. The Spaniard has tested the car in simulator, but is eager to test the car out on track.

The two-time winner is one of the best drivers available on the grid for the 2025 season. Subsequently, the Spaniard is claimed to be a strategic master and a guy who has excellent race craft. Such qualities make him an attractive proposition for any team.

Sainz is a free agent for the 2025 season following his departure from Maranello after the end of this year. At first, it seems like that he would be getting a seat in one of the top teams. However, this is a lot harder than anticipated for him as no top team has an available seat except Mercedes, who will be evaluating all the options before finalizing any driver.

The 29-year-old can aim for a seat with Mercedes, but if it is not possible, he will be looking for a seat at Sauber who will turn to Audi or move to Aston Martin in 2026. There are plenty of options on the table but only time will tell where the Spaniard is headed to.
