A long-running transfer saga may soon come to an end, as European media is now reporting that Kylian Mbappe has decided to leave PSG at the end of the season.
The Frenchman has decided to put an end to his career at Parc des Princes and will be leaving the club on a free transfer this summer. Real Madrid appear to be the likely destination for the attacker.
This is a massive blow for PSG, who are about to lose one of the best players in the world on a free transfer.
Mbappe, for his part, has a great attachment to PSG, which is the primary reason why he took so much time making a decision. He did not want to completely sideline the club, in an attempt to move to Real Madrid.
Mbappe could pay PSG a part of salary bonus
As PSG fans still comprehend Mbappe’s decision, a recent report from Loic Tanzi has revealed a rather interesting update on the player.

It appears Mbappe is willing to pay PSG a part of the salary bonus that he will receive from Real Madrid, as a way of ‘pretending there was a bonus’.
This is largely because PSG are losing Mbappe on a free transfer this summer, even though the club had broken the bank to retain the player’s services not more than a year and a half ago.
As mentioned earlier, Mbappe has great affection for PSG and he does not want to leave without giving back anything.
Paying them a part of his salary bonus, therefore, could be his way of thanking the French giants, who have played a key role in catapulting his career in the past few years. It must be noted that the attacker stands to earn around €100 million as part of his salary bonus.
Mbappe, for his part, has continued to remain tight-lipped on his future. But everything suggests the Frenchman will be a Real Madrid player next season.
