Bristol is a city and county in South West England. The district has the 10th-largest population in England. The city borders North Somerset and South Gloucestershire, with the cities of Bath and Gloucester to the south-east and north-east, respectively.During World War II, Bristol was heavily damaged by Luftwaffe raids. About 1,300 people living or working in the city were killed and nearly 100,000 buildings were damaged, at least 3,000 beyond repair. A Colorado family was left heartbroken after a husband and father was beaten and left on life support following an attack at a gas station on their anniversary. Jonathan ‘Jonny’ George was taken off life support and his organs were donated on his 34th birthday on November 10 after spending nearly a month on life support, according to 9 News. He had been at a Circle K gas statement in Westminster around 7:30 pm on October 20 – the same day he was due to celebrate his fifth anniversary with his wife – when he was attacked.
