Supermodel Emily Ratajkowski is under furious fire from her bikini brand customers – who claim that they still have not received Black Friday purchases they made close to four months ago.

Ratajkowski’s brand, Inamorata, which sells an array of bikinis, one-pieces, beach coverups and even dresses, was started in 2017 by the fashion star and her best friend from childhood, per Forbes.

But while mother-of-one Ratajkowski has proven herself to be the perfect spokesmodel for the brand – which she regularly showcases on her Instagram account – when it came Inamorata’s most recent Black Friday sale, things didn’t sail quite so smoothly.

Throughout the past few weeks, customers have taken to the brand’s most recent Instagram post – which was a Black Friday announcement from November and featured a picture of Ratajkowski modeling one of its bikinis – to air their grievances.

Some fans are not too happy with model Emily Ratajkowski after they allegedly haven’t received their orders from her swimwear company Inamorata’s Black Friday sale

The brand was started in 2017 by Ratajkowski and her best friend from childhood, and it offers swimwear, shirts, bottoms and dresses

‘Ordered a bikini in NOVEMBER that still has not arrived. I have emailed multiple times and all I have gotten is automated responses about the further delays. So upsetting,’ one aggravated customer wrote.

Another wrote, ‘UPDATE – it has been 4 months and customer service assured with a formal email it would be delivered March 5th at the latest. Still nothing and no shipping information. HORRIFIC brand… just give me my money back at this point.’

Some claimed that they had even been promised shipping notifications by the brand that had already passed.

‘It’s the 17th so did you feel the whooshing sound as the March 6th-15th deadline went by? Sadly this was the THIRD deadline that you provided. At this point you owe me interest on my funds you have held,’ another typed.

One infuriated person commented, ‘Your team promised to have my items shipped out by March 15th. Still nothing. PLEASE it’s been 5 months’

‘My November order also hasn’t been shipped. I’ve emailed multiple times. I have a trip in April and was hoping it’d at least arrive by then. It was last promised to be shipped a few days ago,’ someone else complained.

The original deal being offered on the holiday was 50 per cent off their satin styles.

The scandal also made its way to Reddit this week, with many users reporting similar issues with shipping delays.

The brand’s Instagram has been flooded with comments from angry customers who claim their orders from Black Friday have not yet arrived

The last Instagram post on the brand’s page was from Black Friday, posted in November

The  Reddit poster claimed that ‘They sent out two shipping delay emails, one stating it would be in February and another one saying everything would be shipped out latest March 15th.’

On Instagram, the brand responded to a majority of the complaints left on the page, telling customers that they had responded to their emails ‘with options,’ or telling them to email the company for a refund.

They noted that the items ‘will be shipping soon.’

Imorata also posted a story to Instagram on Tuesday to address concerns.

‘Due to the overwhelming volume of orders off the Black Friday sale, we do have a small delay on a small percentage of our orders,’ they wrote.

The message continued, ‘We are offering a full refund to anyone who does not want to wait, with our sincere apologies to our valued customers.’

However, a source with knowledge of the situation told DailyMail.com that when customers placed the orders on Black Friday, they were notified that the styles were on pre-order with a delivery window of January or February.

They also noted that a large portion of the Black Friday orders have in fact been fulfilled in the January/February window, and the orders that have been delayed are only by a few weeks and not four months, like some commenters have claimed.

The brand makes a variety of swimsuit designs, like bikinis, one pieces and even beach coverups

Ratajkowski often models the swimsuits on the brand’s Instagram, posing in all different styles

The source added that there have been communications with customers telling them that there was a factory delay and opportunity for a refund.

But on Tuesday, customers were still flocking to the comments to gripe about their alleged orders.

During a 2020 interview with Forbes, the model revealed that she decided to start her own brand after she had an influx of licensing deals, and was inspired when she saw some of the return results.

‘Now it’s a pretty common understanding: building out your Instagram is building a brand,’ she told the outlet at the time.

‘People weren’t thinking that way three years ago. And I was like, “I already had built a brand with Emrata, but now I want to change this into something where I’m not waiting to do collabs; I have my own products that I’m selling.”‘

DailyMail.com has reached out to representatives for Inamorata and Ratajowski for comment.
