Citadel action star Priyanka Chopra Jonas was once so horrified by a Bollywood director’s behavior in the early 2000s, she walked off the set of the spy film and paid back the production for what they spent on her two days of filming.

‘I just couldn’t look at him every day,’ the Indian 40-year-old told The Zoe Report on Tuesday.

‘[My character was] undercover, I’m seducing the guy – obviously that’s what girls do when they’re undercover. But I’m seducing the guy and you have to take off one piece of clothing [at a time]. I wanted to layer up. The filmmaker was like, “No, I need to see her underwear. Otherwise why is anybody coming to watch this movie?”

‘He didn’t say it to me. He said it to the stylist in front of me. It was such a dehumanizing moment. It was a feeling of, I’m nothing else outside of how I can be used, my art is not important, what I contribute is not important.’

Priyanka also dished about ‘diva’ actors she’s worked with in the past, and they’re mostly men not women.

Otherwise why is anybody coming to watch this movie?” ‘He didn’t say it to me. He said it to the stylist in front of me. It was such a dehumanizing moment. It was a feeling of, I’m nothing else outside of how I can be used, my art is not important, what I contribute is not important’

‘I’ve had co-stars that stopped filming for three hours because they need stuff explained [to them] on a production day — not the night before — while the crew is standing around,’ Chopra said without naming names.

‘Or have diva moments or arrive hours late while everyone’s waiting around. I’ve had that happen with a lot of male actors my whole life.’

The Love Again actress played villainous businesswoman Victoria Leeds, who points a gun at Zac Efron’s head, in the Seth Gordon’s 2017 dismally-reviewed Baywatch movie and she said of that era: ‘I’m not one to sit in the s***. If I’m stuck in the s***, I will figure out a way of crawling out of it.’

Priyanka is preparing for when her husband – two-time Grammy nominee Nick Jonas – and his boyband Jonas Brothers kick off their 39-date Five Albums, One Night Tour with a two-night stand at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx on August 12-13.

‘I want him to do 87 countries. Our careers are very important to both of us and I love seeing him succeed,’ Chopra gushed.

‘We connect a lot on our commonalities. And one of them is that ability – we are hustlers, we’re not afraid of hard work, we’re not afraid to pivot. I’m someone who’s down to learn something I don’t know. And so is Nick.’

The married couple of four years technically met at a 2017 Oscars bash, he then slid into her Instagram DMs, and they finally connected at the 2018 Met Gala.

The $50K/ticket Costume Institute benefit clearly holds special significance for Priyanka and the 30-year-old New Jersey native, but they only made it to one afterparty at The Standard Hotel’s Boom Boom Room hosted by Janelle Monáe.
