During a recent interview with Comicbook.com on Dune 2, Josh Brolin said that he is probably going to be absent from Deadpool 3, where he plays the time-traveling Cable.

He had recently rescued Deadpool when the public last saw him. Wade Wilson takes his time-traveling gadget shortly after that.

It is difficult to envision Cable not showing up at all in Deadpool 3. It is odd that, contrary to what the Deadpool & Wolverine teaser shows, he is not spending the Mercenary’s birthday with all of Wade’s pals.

Many fans hypothesized that Deadpool’s time-traveling mischievousness was the initial cause of his TVA problems. Maybe Cable was first reached by the self-appointed Timeline defenders?

However, it’s crucial to keep in mind that an actor may not always be telling the whole truth when they say anything. Thus, Cable enthusiasts shouldn’t give up.

Domino – Zazie Beetz

Actress Zazie Beetz of Domino plainly said to Collider back in June 2023 that she “is not actually going to be in Deadpool 3.”

Similar to Cable, it is a bit startling when her character disappears from the movie. After all, Wade Wilson’s birthday celebration in Deadpool & Wolverine even includes X-Force members Peter and Shatterstar—how is Domino missing?

The character made her screen debut in Deadpool 2, as she assisted the group in preventing the mutant Russell from following a path filled with darkness. Based on the circumstances shown in the movie, she ought to be alive and well today.

In the end, spectators could be surprised by Beetz. There are always reboots, after all!

Weasel – TJ Miller

Throughout the first two Deadpool movies, TJ Miller’s character Weasel provided a crucial humorous voice.

In the first Deadpool movie, Carano portrayed Angel Dust, a mutant who aided Wade Wilson’s first adventure’s antagonist, Ajax. Surprisingly, her death was not confirmed at the film’s end, suggesting that she is most likely still alive.

Early in 2021, the actress was fired by Disney from The Mandalorian when she was caught posting anti-Semitic and other extremist and disrespectful opinions on social media.

Disney likely doesn’t want anything to do with the actress, especially given she just sued them with Elon Musk’s assistance—especially considering they signed the cheque for Deadpool & Wolverine.

Who Else Is Rumored and Confirmed To Return?

Many of the returning faces are very certainly going to make little more than cameo appearances in the finished film.

Jennifer Gardner’s Elektra is expected to make an appearance in Deadpool’s upcoming adventure, according to earlier sources, but the most recent teaser teased the arrival of Aaron Stanford’s Pyro from X-2.

Even Taylor Swift could find herself in a cameo role.

Wade Wilson celebrated his birthday in a scene that opened the movie’s first teaser, confirming the return of a few well-known characters.Among them were Vanessa by Morena Baccarin, Negasonic Teenage Warhead by Brianna Hildebrand, Colossus by Stefan Kapičić, Blind Al by Leslie Uggams, Dopinder by Karan Soni, and many others.
