Kim Kardashian and sister Khloe celebrate fifth anniversary of UCLA medical center opened in honor of their late father Robert Kardashian Sr.

Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian celebrated the fifth anniversary of the opening of the UCLA Robert G. Kardashian Center for Esophaegeal Health on Monday during April’s Esophaegeal Cancer Awareness Month.

The day after the event, the sister duo posted snaps and clips from the celebration on their Instagram Stories as they honored their late father, who passed away at the age of 59 in 2003.

Khloe, 39, shared a snap of a poster from the event and added a sweet caption about their dad — who gained recognition as the friend and defense attorney for the late O.J. Simpson during his 1995 murder trial.

‘My dad is smiling,’ she wrote alongside a blue heart emoji to go with her snap of the board, which Kim also shared on her social media page.

Khloe, who also shared more 𝑠e𝑥y bikini-clad beach photos from their recent family vacation on the same day, also posted a video of her older sister Kim, 43, speaking at the podium after their ‘dear friend’ and UCLA professor Dr. Eric Esrailian.

The day after the event, the sister duo posted snaps and clips from the celebration on their Instagram Stories as they honored their late father, who passed away at the age of 59 in 2003.

‘I look to him for just guidance and advice as I’m sure all of you guys do,’ Kim said about Esrailian while addressing the attendees.

During her speech, she talked about how he helped their family after Kardashian Sr. passed away following a battle with esophageal cancer.

‘When my dad passed away he was, you know, one of the first people that we called to figure out how we can really honor him and what that would look like in a meaningful way,’ she said in the brief clip.

On the same day, Khloe shared another Instagram update with headless photo of her bikini-clad, toned figure sprawled out in the sand.

In her caption, she said the post was intended to inspire herself to work out in the gym.

‘This post is for me to be motivated! Come on Khloé! You got this. Time to turn up the cardio and weights,’ she wrote.

She also shared a snap showcasing her famous derriere in a 𝑠e𝑥y swimsuit during their recent family vacation in Turks and Caicos.

During her speech, she talked about how their family friend and UCLA professor Dr. Eric Esrailian helped them honor Kardashian Sr. after he passed away from esophageal cancer. She said Esrailian, who stood next to her as she spoke at the podium, was ‘one of the first people that we called’ following her father’s death

Both Kim and Khloe shared a snap of a poster from the event with the younger sister adding a sweet caption about their dad. ‘My dad is smiling,’ she wrote alongside a blue heart emoji

Kim posted a snap of Esrailian and thanked him for ‘helping to save lives’ at the medical center, which was opened five years ago. Khloe also shared a clip of him and called him their ‘dear friend’

On the same day, Khloe shared snaps from their recent family vacation to Turks and Caicos and poked fun at Kim

In her caption, she poked fun at Kim crying about losing her earrings in the ocean in an iconic moment from Keeping Up with the Kardashians in 2011.

She quoted their older sister Kourtney Kardashian‘s response to Kim’s theatrics as documented on their past reality TV show and wrote: ‘KIM, THERE’S PEOPLE THAT ARE DYING.’

Playing along, Kourtney, 44, commented, ‘Is this in response to my post about my diamond earrings?’

A little over one week earlier, the oldest Kardashian sister posted bikini-clad beach photos and also joked about Kim losing her $75,000 diamond earring in the infamous show clip.

Referencing their Bora Bora trip in season six of KUTWK, she directly quoted her sister: ‘My diamond earring came off in the ocean and it’s gone.’

This comes after Kim admitted she was growing tired of the diamond earring references and revealed that one of her sisters retrieved the earrings for her.

She said the jokes about the infamous incident are ‘so old’ last year and added: ‘Any time I’m in water, people will ask me if I found my diamond earring in the ocean’

‘Ugh, this gets so old,’ she said during an appearance on GQ’s Actually Me segment in November 2023.

‘Any time I’m in water, people will ask me if I found my diamond earring in the ocean,’ she continued.

‘I don’t know if I showed this on our show, but Kylie [Jenner] found the earring,’ she explained. ‘So, she dove in the ocean, put on goggles, found it, and then she went back and found the back of it. That’s how clear the water is in Bora Bora, so, guys, the earring has been found.’

She then advised fans against trying to find her earring in the ocean. ‘It was found in 2010,’ she said.

‘If anyone’s going to Bora Bora searching for gold and diamonds, [it’s] not there.’
