Little did we know that the same year, Priyanka Chopra Jonas herself will tie the knot with Nick Jonas and will make it a moment of true celebration for all PeeCee fans. It was on December 01-02, 2018, that Priyanka became Mrs Jonas in a dual wedding setup, a Hindu and a Christian wedding in Udaipur, and we still haven’t gotten over their dreamy wedding pictures. From MET Gala 2019 to Cannes 2019, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas have become almost synonymous to #CoupleFashionGoals. And it was in Cannes 2019, when Priyanka shared a memorable instance from their courtship days which made her sit back, analyse their relationship and understand that Nick is a keeper! In a chat session with Anupama Chopra, Priyanka shared, “The best thing about getting married to someone like Nick is he understands what it takes to have the careers that we do. His career is longer than mine, he’s been in the business almost 20-21 years and he knows what it takes. So that was one of the first things I think I fell in love with him.”

Recalling an incident, Priyanka Chopra Jonas shared, “We were on a boat with a bunch of our friends, it was the Memorial Day weekend and a bunch of our friends were like don’t go to work. I was like maaroing hints, if someone gives me a reason to cancel my meeting, I will cancel it, he’s like ignoring, I am like did he hear me, he’s ignoring me.”

And it was then when Nick Jonas made the situation extremely easy for Priyanka Chopra, which the latter shared with great pride. She said, “I am going to take out our friends for dinner, you finish up and come back.” The actress added, “I sat back when I was going for my meeting, I said he’s hosting our friends and waiting for me to finish. That’s when I knew he’s a keeper.”

It was on August 18, 2018, that the now ‘Mrs Jonas’, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and the man of her dreams, Nick Jonas had posted a heartfelt picture and a message to all their fans, through their individual profiles, announcing their togetherness to one and all. While Priyanka had captioned the picture as, “Taken.. With all my heart and soul..”, Nick had written, “Future Mrs. Jonas. My heart. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ wedding story at People magazine had it that PeeCee was holding a ‘bouquet of hyacinths and tuberoses designed by Jenya Flowers (NYC)’ while walking down the aisle. Sharing her experience about the same, Priyanka had then stated, “I could not hold it in. I think I was nervous and scared. But as soon as the curtains opened, and I saw his face it was just like everything settled and I knew I was making the best decision of my life.”

On The Daily Show, Nick had opened up about his relationship and revealed why he felt Priyanka is the ‘one’ for him. Speaking about the same, the Jealous star was quoted as saying, “So many things. I could go into all of it and get all mushy but, I think the thing that really connected both of us is our love for family and faith and the importance of being connected to those who are always going to be there for you. We found that in each other as well, which is a beautiful thing. I’m excited to start our life together.”
