Vanessa Hudgens wears a white shirt and shorts with a straw hat as she joins the SAG-AFTRA strike picket lines in Los Angeles

Vanessa Hudgens added herself to the long list of celebrities to showing support for the ongoing SAF-AFTRA strike as she was spotted on Thursday joining the picket line in Los Angeles.

Hudgens, 34, was photographed with her friends, including the actor Oliver Trevena, and fellow strikers joining the picket line outside Warner Bros studios in Burbank.

At the protest, the Disney alum wore an all-white outfit comprised of a white SAG AFTRA t-shirt, a pair of white short shorts, and a pair of white platform sneakers.

She completed her look with a large straw sun hat, a heart pendant necklace, a gold cuff bracelet on one of her wrists, and a grey Prada crossbody bag.

The Bad Boys franchise star was seen putting a hand up in the air as she was checking her cellphone. She was also spotted talking to someone over the phone as she marched with fellow strikers.

During the July 20 strike, the actress held a large black picket sign that read ‘SAG-AFTRA on STRIKE!’ in white and gold colored font.

This was not Hudgens’s first time joining the ongoing strike as she was among the picketers photographed protesting outside of Warner Bros. studios on July 18.

For Tuesday’s protest, Hudgens donned the same outfit that she wore on July 20, but switched her white short shorts with a pair of white loose, wide leg pants.

She was seen taking photos with several striking union actors, including Jessica Quilantan, Ana Vergara, Alexandra Shipp, and Rosario Dawson.

Shipp, who starred with Hudgens in the 2021 Oscar-nominated film Tick, Tick… Boom!, posted a photo of herself with Hudgens and Dawson in a collage of pictures from the strike that day on Instagram.

‘Day 3 of STRIKE! The studios are shutting down streets, putting up phony construction sites and cutting back trees so there’s no shade KNOWING it’s almost unbearably hot!,’ Shipp, 32, wrote in the lengthy caption of her Instagram post.

‘What’s crazy is that we’ve been internally debating residuals and the overwhelming influx of streaming and AI for years now. It’s hard to put it into words, but it’s been a tough road for any actor in this industry. As the economy evolves, as well as cost of living, it’s becoming more and more apparent that our deals need to evolve as well’

Shipp, who will play Writer Barbie in the upcoming Barbie movie, noted that the Screen Actor’s Guild (‘SAG’) will, ‘not give up and will support all unions fighting for equality and equal play.

Congress Support: The on-going Hollywood labor disputes have also earned the support of public figures not in the entertainment industry, including Congressman Adam Schiff, who joined picketers outside the Netflix Studios in LA on Monday

The ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike began on July 14 and is the latest of the ongoing labor disputes in Hollywood. The WGA strike, which saw writers crossing the picket line, has been ongoing since early May.

It is the first time that actors initiated a labor dispute in America since 1980 and the first time that both actors and writers went on strike at the same time since 1960.

The ongoing SAG-AFTRA Strike, which enters its seventh day of protests, have seen many well-known actors showing solidarity with striking actors by issuing statements of support and/or joining picket lines in LA and New York City.

Besides Hudgens, Shipp, and Rosario, other well-known names who took part in the picket lines in either Los Angeles or New York City include Jason Sudeikis, Susan Sarandon, Mandy Moore, Logan Lerman, America Ferrera, and Josh Gad, to name a few.

The on-going Hollywood labor disputes have also earned the support of public figures not in the entertainment industry, including President Joe Biden and Congressman Adam Schiff.

The latter, whose represents a congressional district that includes the neighborhoods of West Hollywood, Hollywood, and Burbank, was spotted on Monday among the picketers protesting outside the Netflix studios in Los Angeles.
