Even though the Met Gala 2024 is over, Cardi B is once again responsible for the gift that keeps on giving. The rapper has been sharing other outfits that she thought of donning on the greatest night in fashion, and it turns out that all of them are eye-catching.
Cardi B made her red carpet debut on Monday, May 6, at the Met Gala wearing an exquisite black tulle gown with a train so long it nearly filled the Met steps.
During her interview on the red carpet, Cardi B revealed that the gown was designed by Sensen Lii, the founder of Windowsen, a Chinese label. However, she was unable to pronounce the brand’s name or the nationality of the designer.
Cardi B is renowned for going all out for the Met Gala, and her outfit this year was no exceptionโthe Bronx native didn’t choose to wear anything ordinary. Following the evening, Cardi B disclosed that she was thinking of getting a second outfit for the 2024 Met Gala. She posted a video of a dress that was aquamarine in color and nearly identical to the black outfit she wore to the red carpet on X, which was formerly Twitter.
Fans who comment on the show couldn’t seem to come to a common conclusion, but some people were very devoted to the alternate attire. After someone asked why she didn’t associate with the green party, she responded, ” It didn’t have a good photographing quality… It differed in lighting and angles on the camera. ”
