Will Nikolas’ Path To Freedom Be Paved By Helping Sonny?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) may not know it yet, but it would appear he has struck paydirt. Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) trip to visit him in Pentonville was mostly laced with good intentions, but we’d be lying if we said we didn’t suspect Ava wanted to rub salt in Nik’s broken-hearted wounds.

Here he is, trapped in a cell without any means of recapturing Ava’s heart — and she’s showing up to let him know she’s over the moon to be shacking up with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Showing him her hand might not have been her smartest move though. Now, Nikolas knows exactly how Ava is getting what she wants — and he may soon figure out how to take it away while suiting his own agenda instead.

General Hospital Spoilers — Ava Jerome Spilled The Beans

It seems that Ava went to Pentonville looking for a bit more than just the satisfaction of knowing she was making her ex-husband jealous. She was looking for an ally. She was looking for someone to share the burden of the truth with.

Ava might think she’s good at keeping secrets, but she always seems to want to let someone in on her disastrous plans.

This time around, telling Nikolas about Sonny’s botched medication seemed like a safe bet in her mind, but it could rapidly become the quicksand she’s standing in.

GH Spoilers – Hint Nikolas Cassadine Has Sonny Corinthos’s Back?

There is nothing Nikolas wants more than to get out of Pentonville and move on with his life. While we haven’t gleaned many details about how long he’ll be trapped behind bars, we can imagine he’s going to be some time since Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) are taking steps to become Ace Cassadine’s (Jay and Joey Clay) legal guardians.

Is it possible that Nikolas may come to use this secret against Ava — blackmailing her to get what he wants?

Sure, but rumor has it he’s going to be much more interested in how he can dangle this carrot in front of Sonny to get the mafioso to pull strings and get him an early release.

General Hospital Spoilers — All’s Well That Ends Well?

The fans keep wondering how this can possibly end up working out in Ava’s favor. On one hand, she’s not to blame for Sonny’s medication being botched.

That’s all on Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). On the other hand, Ava is complicit as she knows what’s really wrong with Sonny and isn’t saying a word.

If Nikolas manages to trace the problem back to Valentin, he could tell Sonny the truth in exchange for him finagling his freedom. Then, Nikolas is free to scoop Ava up again — but will she want him when she has Sonny on the hook?

Furthermore, will Ava be furious with her ex if she sees his move to help Sonny as a slight against her agenda to keep Sonny unstable and in her orbit? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.

Eyewitnesses along with Russian and Ukrainian military bloggers first reported the attack, with anonymous Ukrainian military officials later telling RBC Ukraine the strike was conducted with the US-manufactured ATACMS (Army Tactical Missile System).
