Chase Files For Custody Of Violet – Brothers Clash Over Finn’s Drinking

General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) have had their fair share of conflicts over the years, but during recent times, they’ve been close.

After Chase learned that Finn had found their father Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) dead in his bed, he gave him the benefit of the doubt when it came to the glass of alcohol the recovered addict consumed.

Chase believed that Finn had a “bad” day and wouldn’t have reached for the drink had it not been in the house from the wedding before.

With that said, as this week’s GH preview shows Chase watching Finn consume more alcohol, will he begin to lose faith in his brother? Will he take extreme measures to protect his niece, Violet Finn (Jophielle Love)?

General Hospital Spoilers – The First Obstacle In The Brace Marriage

GH spoilers indicate that the first hurdle in the marriage between Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Setton) and Chase could be the loss of Gregory.

The two were supposed to head off to their honeymoon; however, stopped before boarding the plane to be with friends and family.

Part of that will mean BLQ acts as a support system for her new hubby; however, could a part of that also mean becoming a mother figure to Violet?

Finn is set to take another drink the week of June 3 and fans know this “drinking” storyline with the good doctor will not slow down; rather it’ll only escalate.

While Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) has always played a mothering role to Violet, not only because she’s the little girl’s biological aunt, but also because of her relationship with Finn, the Fiz romance seems to be fizzling hard with every drink Finn consumes.

Liz and Finn could be a thing of the past, very soon. If Finn spirals, will Chase put his foot down where Violet is concerned?

GH Spoilers – Instant Family In The Making

Liz had mentioned taking Violet the night she found Finn drinking in his home. This could be a way GH writers foreshadow him eventually losing custody (temporarily) of his daughter.

Brook Lynn will completely support Chase’s need to be there for family; she’s been raised so that family comes first.

If Chase strongly believes that Violet should be removed from Finn’s home, BLQ will be on board. Their little apartment may be small, but they’ll make the accommodations needed to ensure Violet is comfortable.

They may even decide to move back to the Quartermaine mansion, which Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) is sure to be okay with.

But what if something even worse happens? What if Finn gets into a drinking and driving accident?

Another thing fans noticed was when Violet was concerned about losing her dad, shortly after her grandfather died during her chat with BLQ. Could Finn’s death result in Chase and Brook Lynn getting custody of Violet?

Will Chase fight for custody of Violet if Finn spirals? Join the conversation, below! Watch the popular ABC soap daily and visit this site often for the best General Hospital spoilers and news.

Russia makes biggest advance in Ukraine since early days of the war, seizing an area half the size of London as Putin’s forces launch artillery and bomb blitz

Russian forces are advancing westward in Ukraine at a rate faster than any other time after the initial days of the 2022 invasion, taking an area half the size of London over the past month as the return of Donald Trump to the White House looms large. Vladimir Putin’s troops swept through swathes of Ukraine in early 2022 and were bearing down on Kyiv in a matter of days, but they were held on the outskirts of the capital before being pushed back and retreating further east. Since then, the 1,000 km (620-mile) front line remained largely static save for some minor offensives one way or the other – that is until Ukraine launched a lightning incursion into Russia’s Kursk region this summer.
