Kelly Clarkson, who has experienced Taylor Swift’s thoughtfulness firsthand, recently shared with E! News that the “Anti-Hero” singer consistently sends her gifts following album releases. “You know what’s so funny? She just sent me flowers,” revealed the host of The Kelly Clarkson Show. “She’s so nice. She did. She was like, ‘Every time I release something’—’cause she just did 1989. I got that really cute cardigan, too.”
Despite Clarkson’s earlier Twitter suggestion in 2019 during Swift’s public battle over masters with Scooter Braun, emphasizing that Swift should re-record her songs, the American Idol alum maintained that Swift likely conceptualized the idea independently. ” @taylorswift13 just a thought, U should go in & re-record all the songs that U don’t own the masters on exactly how U did them but put brand new art & some kind of incentive so fans will no longer buy the old versions,” Clarkson had tweeted at the time.
