Simple tips for shiny skin of Jennie – BLACKPINK

1. Double cleansing – Deep cleansing is true love!

Double cleansing is a technique to remove makeup twice, first with oil makeup remover, massage thoroughly to remove dirt deep in the pores. Then you continue to use water-based makeup remover to wipe away excess oil residue left on the skin. On the Korean show Get it Beauty, Jennie shared that double cleansing is part of the daily skincare routine, to make sure the skin is completely clean before the end of the day.

2. Use multiple masks for radiant skin

Jennie once shared about how she relies heavily on masks, using two types of masks every day to get better skin. However, she has reduced her use of masks over time and switched to improving her diet. Like Jennie, another member of BLACKPINK, Jisoo, also often uses masks.

3. Exfoliate your body with bath salts

Jennie’s skin care routine not only focuses on facial care, but also body care. The female idol uses bath salts to exfoliate her body, followed by a layer of lotion to keep her skin soft.

4. Focus on nutrition rather than beauty products

While surface-level skin care is important, you can’t achieve naturally radiant skin without adjusting your diet. What you eat will ultimately reflect on your skin, right? Jennie follows a healthy diet, starting her day with a glass of detox water and collagen soup from chicken feet.

Like other BLACKPINK members, Jennie does not hesitate to eat and drink without worrying too much about her weight. However, she tries to eliminate dishes that use a lot of salty spices to avoid “bloating”, drinking fresh juices and cool green vegetables instead.

5. Don’t forget that exercise will also help improve facial skin!

Exercise not only helps you have a toned body, but it also increases blood circulation and improves your mood, which will also be reflected on your skin. Jennie regularly shares photos of her aerial yoga and Pilates sessions on Instagram, motivating fans to move and exercise hard.

Blood circulation improves with regular exercise, making skin brighter and reducing toxins. Exercise also helps reduce cortisol levels in the body, thereby minimizing areas of skin that break out and appear acne due to stress.
