Cristiano Ronaldo gets thanks from Francis Ngannou on receiving a family invite to his match against Al-Duhail

French-Cameroonian MMA fighter Francis Ngannou is a big fan of Cristiano Ronaldo. He revealed that his mother was present at the stadium to witness Ronaldo’s performance against Al-Duhail in the AFC Champions League on Tuesday, Oct. 24. Ngannou also expressed his gratitude for inviting his family to the Al Nassr match.

Ngannou is facing lineal heavyweight champion, boxer Tyson Fury, in Riyadh, on Oct. 28. In the match between Al Nassr and the Qatari champions, the former emerged victorious with a score of 4-3 at Al-Awwal Park. Ronaldo scored two goals, while Sadio Mane and Anderson Talisca contributed with one goal each. Posting on X (formerly Twitter), Ngannou wrote:

Great to see you this week my brother @Cristiano and thank you for inviting me and my family out to @AlNassrFC game See you Saturday #FuryNgannou.

Following his appointment as ambassador by Turki Alalshikh, the chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority (GEA), Ronaldo has been busy. He has been actively promoting the upcoming fight show in Riyadh. Besides this, he has also been a vividly strong supporter of the former UFC champion.

Ngannou attended an Asian Champions League match to support Ronaldo and his Al-Nassr teammates. Ronaldo had just played a great game against Al-Duhail at the Al-Awwal Park. Afterward, Ngannou and the Al-Nassr captain had a friendly chat. They even took some promotional photos together.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Francis Ngannou have become good friends recently. Ronaldo showed his support for Ngannou’s upcoming fight against Tyson Fury in Riyadh. But that’s not all. Ngannou recently became overtly candid about their friendship and even flaunted a watch worth $117,000 that Ronaldo gifted him.

Ngannou didn’t just accept Ronaldo’s gift with gratitude, he also reciprocated by showing his appreciation for the soccer star. In a recent interview, when asked about Ronaldo, Ngannou replied, “Yeah, he is my boy.”

Ronaldo delivered a spectacular performance for Al Nassr, and the MMA star was there. Similarly, the soccer star is expected to be in attendance of the boxing match in Riyadh.
