Game of Thrones is one of the most watched series and has received a lot of attention and recognition worldwide over the years but the HBO series has also received flak for showcasing sex and rape scenes which are graphic in nature. Many actors from the series are asked the same question on the nude scenes on the show and recently Emilia Clarke, who plays the pivotal role of Daenerys Targaryen in GOT  opened up about her frustration and said that she is tired of this discussion. The English actress revealed that it is not a big deal for her and she is not at all interested in what critics have to say. And she also asked audiences to get over with it too.

Emilia Clarke,  in a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, said, “I’m starting to get really annoyed about this stuff now because people say, ‘Oh, yeah, all the porn sites went down when Game of Thrones came back on’,” Clarke told Harper’s Bazaar magazine. “I’m like, The Handmaid’s Tale? I f…ing love that show, and I cried when it ended because I couldn’t handle not seeing it. That is all sex and nudity.” “There are so many shows centred around this very true fact that people reproduce. People f… for pleasure – it’s part of life,” she added.

In the interview, she also revealed that she is happy in her space by doing non-stereotypical roles. “Instead of playing Juliet and doing the light, airy stuff, I would be the granny who cracks wise or a down-and-out hooker who has seen better days.”, she said. On the work front, Clarke will be next seen in the Star Wars spin-off movie Solo: A Star Wars Story. In the movie, she will be playing the role of Kira. The series will return for its final season in 2018 and is currently being filmed and the ironic part is that people are expecting more sex scenes featuring Emilia.
