Manchester United’s head coach, Erik ten Hag, has reportedly lost control over a part of the “dressing room”, according to Sky Sports.
Sources indicate that the Dutch coach has lost the support of nearly half of the “Red Devils” “dressing room”. It is connected to ten Hag’s management style. The players are also dissatisfied with the team’s style and feel they run too much during training sessions.
It is worth recalling that midfielder Jadon Sancho was excluded from the squad at the beginning of the season by the decision of the head coach. Additionally, Cristiano Ronaldo left Manchester United at the end of the previous year, in part due to disagreements with ten Hag.
In April 2022, it was announced that ten Hag would take over as the head coach of Manchester United from June 2022. He signed a three-year contract with the option to extend for another year with the “Red Devils.”
On February 26, 2023, ten Hag secured his first trophy with Manchester United, winning the English Football League Cup by defeating Newcastle United 2-0 in the final.
