Kim Kardashian will star in her own series helmed by American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy – hot on the heels of her turn in AHS: Delicate.
The reality star, 43, who played publicist Siobhan in the scary drama, will get the chance to further flex her acting skills in a ‘sexy adult’ drama – where she will play LA’s most successful divorce lawyer, reports Deadline.
Kim’s lawyer alter-ego – who TMZ reports is inspired by the star’s own divorce attorney, ‘disso queen’ Laura Wasser – will also be the owner of an all-female law firm in the drama, which has been written Brothers & Sisters creator Jon Robin Baitz and Joe Baken. Her contract is currently being negotiated.

The drama is set to air on Hulu with a ‘big series commitment’ and will be Murphy’s first series under his new Disney deal, with 20th Television, part of Disney TV Studios, producing.
Murphy, Baitz and Baken pitched the series to Kardashian and Kris Jenner – both ‘both committed right away.’ Kardashian is currently studying to be a lawyer in real life.

‘Disso queen’ Laura Wasser is reportedly the inspiration behind Kim’s new character
Murphy, Kardashian and Jenner are all executive producing – and have begun preliminary casting for three actresses to play Kardashian’s three law partners, alongside an A-lister to play her love interest.
Sources tell the publication the series is eyeing to begin production in late 2024 for an early 2025 premiere.
Wasser is Hollywood’s famed divorce lawyer and handled Kardashian’s split from Kanye West last year.
When Kim was announced to star in AHS: Delicate earlier in April, her casting received some criticism, with stars such as Patti LuPone and Sharon Stone offering their own disapproval.
The Basic Instinct actress notably commented on a post that shared a clip of Patti expressing her opinion about Kim taking on a large role in the show.
‘Well… you know… acting. It may not be brain surgery but we do treasure our art,’ Sharon had written. ‘We studied, we suffered, we do suffer for it. Ten thousand hours; it’s a thing.’
When the series premiered, some fans slammed Kim’s performance with some taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their thoughts.
One wrote, ‘I’m not into Kim at all #AHS,’ while another social media user penned, ‘Kim sucks at acting. Why is she on this? Ruined it for me.’
However, others applauded the TV personality in her first scripted television role.

A fan typed out on X, ‘@KimKardashian is doing the d**n thing on American Horror Story idc what anyone says.’
Another added, ‘FINALLY feels like AHS again! Really enjoying this season! And @KimKardashian is shockingly great!’
And in the comment section of The Kardashian’s finale trailer that was uploaded to Instagram on Wednesday, some social media users offered the same positive opinion.
‘She’s actually killing her role it fits her well at least the business woman side,’ a fan wrote, with another typing, ‘And she killed it as always.’
Despite receiving mixed opinions from fans in regards to her performance in American Horror Story, it was recently revealed that the star will continue to pursue her budding acting career by both producing and starring in the comedy, The 5th Wheel.

Aside from AHS, Kim also voiced the character of Delores in PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie which premiered in September.
According to Deadline, Kim will not only step in front of the camera to take on a role in the movie, but will also produce the film alongside Paula Bell.
The screenplay is slated to be written by Bell as well as Janine Brito and five studios had battled against each other to score the package – which eventually went to Netflix.
The media personality has been very hands on when it comes to the project, and has made sure to attend every pitch, the outlet reported.
