She upped the ante by pairing it with thigh-high leather boots
The only thing better than getting one major Anne Hathaway look in a single night is getting two.
After making waves on the 2023 Fashion Awards red carpet in a vintage Valentino couture gown, the Devil Wears Prada alum executed a showstopping outfit change for the after-party.
The centerpiece of her second look was a strapless scarlet minidress, which featured a fitted bodice and a voluminous skirt composed of large rose-shaped frills. The piece’s floral motif was only amplified by her pair of slouchy thigh-high black leather boots, which extended upwards toward the dress like a thorny black rose stem. To accessorize, Hathaway wore a sparkling diamond encrusted necklace and earrings from Bulgari.
Earlier in the night, Hathaway shone on the red carpet in a vintage Valentino couture creation: a champagne gown featuring ribbed, geometric designs across the bodice that extended into delicate fringe layered atop an airy, pleated floor-length skirt. She wore the evening gown with the same Bulgari jewelry she later wore to the after-party.
This is far from the first time Hathaway has wowed on the red carpet this season.
Just last month, she showed out at the 2023 CFDA Fashion Awards, where she pulled a heavenly set from Ralph Lauren’s Spring/Summer 2024 ready-to-wear collection. This involved a strapless, button-up bustier and a sweeping maxi skirt with a dramatically long train. Both pieces were emblazoned with an ethereal, cloudlike print. She finished off the look with yet more Bulgari jewelry—including a chandelier diamond necklace with a 31-carat cushion-cut sapphire—and strappy silver heels from Jimmy Choo.
