Cardi B is spotted out for FIRST time since unfollowing husband Offset and vowing to ‘eliminate dead weight’

Cardi B looked gorgeous and relaxed as she was spotted shopping on Los Angeles‘ Melrose Avenue on Friday evening.

The outing marks the first time the Bodak Yellow singer, 31, has been seen in public since she and her husband Offset, also 31, unfollowed each other on social media sparking speculation of an impending split.

Cardi also made a not-so-cryptic comment on Instagram Live on Tuesday.

‘Career-wise and financially and personal life, I know where I wanna be at next year. You know what I’m saying? You gotta rid of dead weight,’ she said per TMZ.

‘…and when it comes to dead weight … I’ll say mentality, procrastination, laziness and people. A lot of people are dead weight, too,’ she said, adding: ‘Next year is gonna be all about me.’

The Bongos singer wore a fashion forward look for her shopping excursion made up of an oversized top featuring two different plaid patterns.

The primary plaid was in several shades of brown while the other was blue and red.

The Grammy winner wore extremely short denim shorts which she paired with over the knee, acid-washed denim boots that went all the way up to the hem of her shorts.

Cardi wore her raven hair in a gorgeous and sleek bob and carried a caramel-colored Hermes handbag.

Cardi (born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar) and Offset (born Kiari Kendrell Cephus) have been married since 2017.

On Monday, Cardi posted to her Instagram Stories saying: ‘You know when you just out grow relationships,’ adding: ‘I’m tired of protecting peoples feelings…I GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST.’

An hour earlier Offset shared a clip of Al Pacino‘s Scarface character alone in a huge bathtub with him shouting, ‘Hey, f—k you, man! Who put this thing together? Me! Who do I trust? Me!’ on his Instagram Stories.

Meanwhile Offset took his mother Latabia Woodward, instead of his wife, to Miami’s Art Basel events where he performed at one of the bashes.

This is not the first time the couple has come to a volatile moment in their relationship.

In December 2018, she announced on Instagram that she and Offset had separated, but the pair got back together.

In September 2020, Cardi filed for divorce but a month later, they were back together.

The couple are the parents of daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus, five, and son Wave Set Cephus, two.

The musical couple reportedly met at an ‘industry event’ in 2016, with Cardi B recalling in a November 2017 Twitter video, ‘He was very consistent. He really wanted to talk to me.’

They reportedly started dating in January 2017, the same month they released a song together called Lick.

Cardi shared a photo of them on her Instagram during the Super Bowl, referring to the Migos rapper as, ‘my friend… you know what I’m saying?’

Offset later revealed that the Super Bowl was their first real date, with the couple sharing a kissing Instagram snap on Valentine’s Day 2017.

Britain’s multi-billion pound aircraft carriers get sunk ‘in most war games’ – and officials have discussed mothballing one to save cash

Britain’s recently built multi-billion pound aircraft carriers may already be out of date, with military sources revealing that the carries get sunk ‘in most war games’. At present, the Royal Navy boasts two £6.2 billion aircraft carriers, the HMS Queen Elizabeth and the HMS Prince of Wales, which were only commissioned into service in 2017 and 2019 respectively. However, given the constant advancements in weapon technology, the ships may now be too susceptible to modern missiles to prove effective in wartime operation.
