Hollywood icon Brad Pitt has seemingly hit back after it was revealed that his adopted son previously shared a scathing rant on Instagram about the actor, with the teenager branding his adoptive father a “f***ing awful human”.
The Mr and Mrs Smith actor has been the adoptive father of Pax Jolie-Pitt since Angelina Jolie adopted him from an orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in 2007.
At the time, Pax was only three years of age, and was in the orphanage after being dumped as a newborn baby by his heroin-addicted biological mother. And now, the 19-year-old has shared an explosive rant on social media about his Hollywood actor father figure, with him branding him a “terrible and despicable person”.
Yesterday, the MailOnline revealed that Pax shared the rant on Father’s Day 2020, with the teen penning at the time: “You have made the lives of those closest to me a constant hell. You may tell yourself and the world whatever you want, but the truth will come to light someday.”
In the post that was allegedly shared on the story of his private Instagram account when he was 16, Pax added: “So Happy Father’s Day, you f*****g awful human being.”

Sources have now claimed that Brad, 59, finds it “depressing to see this dragged up” following the unearthed rant being shared. Speaking to The Sun, the insider said: “It’s frustrating to see Brad being painted as some kind of ”bad person’; when it’s far from the truth.”
It was then revealed that despite the scathing rant that was shared more than three years prior, Brad has “great respect” for each of his kids, with it speaking volumes that he “chooses to keep a dignified silence” about the unearthed post.
The Mirror has reached out to Brad Pitt’s representative, but they did not immediately respond.
Brad and Angelina, who split in 2016, share six children from their marriage. Their kids include 22-year-old Maddox, 19-year-old Pax, 18-year-old Zahara, 17-year-old Shiloh, and 15-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
