The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Monday, December 18 – Eric Reacts to Stephanie’s Heavenly Invite – Chooses Life or Death

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Monday, December 18, reveal that Eric Forrester (John McCook) will have a big decision to make. Eric pulled through the experimental procedure, so John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) pointed out that now it’s just a waiting game.

Of course, the Forresters will hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

There’s just no way of knowing what the future holds for Eric, so Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will continue to wrestle with whether he made the right call.

Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) knows Finn and Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) did everything they could in the operating room, but Eric is still facing a difficult, risky recovery.

That’s especially obvious now that Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) has appeared in Eric’s room, where he’s surrounded by bright light.

Stephanie told Eric that everyone had been waiting for him and insisted Eric was home, so she’s basically inviting him to stay with her in the afterlife.

Eric has been remembering some wonderful memories and probably feels a lot of peace in this moment, so he may be tempted to take Stephanie up on her offer.

However, B&B fans know Eric has come too far to give up now!

It just isn’t Eric’s time to go, so he’ll presumably reject Stephanie’s heavenly invitation sooner or later.

There may be some scary moments where Eric’s medical team nearly loses him, but he’ll come back to his living loved ones in the end.

Eric may tell Stephanie that his family still needs him and choose to stick around for as long as he can.

Thanks to Finn’s research and the experimental procedure, Eric has the chance to recover and perhaps live for many more years.

That’s great news, but the road ahead won’t be easy! Eric will have to rely on his doctors and keep fighting when things get dicey.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Eric’s reunion with Stephanie will be a temporary one, so stay tuned for updates on his next chapter and all the drama ahead.

Family campaigners have criticised as ‘grossly discriminatory’ plans to give trans men and lesbians access to NHS-funded IVF two years ahead of heterosexual couples. Under the controversial proposals, trans men – those born as women who now identify as men – will be automatically assumed to be unable to conceive, as will lesbians and single women. This means they will be immediately eligible for IVF on the NHS – costing an estimated £5,000 a cycle – if they meet the other criteria, such as a body mass index between 19 and 30, not smoking, being under 43 and not having a partner with a child from a previous relationship.
