The event, which will take place from May 2 to May 12 includes 300 shows across more than 35 venues in Los Angeles, California.
It was a massive hit in 2022, selling 260,000 tickets, and Netflix is looking to step it up in 2024 with even bigger names.
“This is a special time for comedy, both for Netflix and the genre at large,” Robbie Praw, Netflix’s VP of stand-up and comedy formats, said.
“We have the privilege of working with comedians who are selling out arenas, winning awards and building fandoms in the millions.
“In the 10 years that we’ve been doing stand-up we’ve seen the art form reach levels we didn’t think possible.
“This festival aims to capture this moment by bringing together the world’s best comedians for an unforgettable 11 days.”
Alongside Brady are names like John Mulaney, Chris Rock, Matt Rife, and Ali Wong.
Brady’s participation in the Netflix is a Joke Fest comes in the form of a celebrity roast.
Netflix is dubbing the event G.R.O.A.T., the Greatest Roast of All Time. The name plays off Brady’s nickname as the GOAT of football.
Like the Comedy Central roasts of old, Jeff Ross will serve as “Roastmaster General” for the night.
Included in the roast will be Brady’s “famous friends and frenemies” to make fun of him during the night.
Brady recently started up another venture with Topps, looking back at the what-if scenario of him playing baseball instead of football.
Brady was drafted to the Montreal Expos as well as the New England Patriots, and he released a special baseball card with Topps commemorating his near-miss baseball career.
It’s hard to imagine what the NFL would be like today if Tom Brady never played.
