Eiichiro Oda, the writer and illustrator of One Piece said that he was about to change the fate of Monkey D. Luffy’s brother Portgas D. Ace, and bring him back into the story for his fans.
Ace is a character from One Piece, which is a Japanese anime and manga series that is very popular and almost everyone has heard of, if you follow anime then you know about it for sure. One Piece franchise has games, anime, manga, live adaptations, merchandise, and many more, so you know how popular it is among the audience.
In One Piece, there is a famous character who is also the brother of protagonist Monkey D. Luffy and also the only child of Gold D. Roger, named Ace, who was also loved by the audience and were very sad about his death. After watching the audience, the creator of One Piece was about to change the story and bring Ace back to the story.

He revealed this news in an interview in 2012 and recently got translated by one of the users of X(former name: Twitter) known as @/sandman_AP in which it said the following
“When Ace first appeared, the reaction from my audience was tremendous, so he was worried about whether he should kill Ace or not. He planned to kill Ace just one year after his appearance but it ended up taking up 10 years.

Fire Fist Ace Died on the Battlefield in the 483rd episode of the show. His death was heartbreaking as well as the crucial and major turning point of the series as well as for Luffy. This incident occurred when Ace was going to be executed and all the pirates who supported Whitebeard and Ace came to help Ace from being executed by the Marines.

This was a very big fight and Luffy came to help his brother Ace but even after trying his best, he was not able to save his brother. Ace lost his life while saving Luffy from Akainu who was going for Luffy’s head, he throws himself to save his brother Luffy and ultimately gets killed at the hands of Akainu.
Ace was a very strong fighter with great skills with a bounty of 550 million berries (currency used in One Piece) which shows how great he was. Luffy spent all of his childhood with Ace and later they became pirates. So you can imagine how shocking it would be for his brother Ace to die like that in his hands. Luffy was so depressed that he went into terrible shock and trauma after this incident.

Luffy and his Fandom were very depressed and sad, this was the reason that made Eiichiro Oda rethink and was about to change the fate of Ace and bring him back to the series. But this was an important step, as this made Luffy realise that he was not strong enough and needed to gain more power, which he did with the help of Jinbei and others.

Eiichiro Oda was born in 1975, January in Kumamoto, Japan, and is a popular Japanese manga artist. He dropped out of college when he was a freshman in 1994. In his childhood, he was a big fan of Vikings, Japanese cartoons, Dragon Ball, etc. He is the creator of the series One Piece with more than 516.6 million fans worldwide. At the age of 17, Oda got him into a job at the weekly Shonen Jump magazine. At the age of 19, he is working as an assistant to Nobuhiro Watsuki on Rurouni Kenshin.

Eiichiro Oda married Chiaki Inaba on November 7, 2004. About 1 and a half years later they had their blessing in the form of a daughter in mid of 2006 and later one more daughter in 2009. Because of his very busy work schedule, Oda had to stay separated from his family, while he used to visit them around once every week. His best time for visiting was the holidays. His family resided at a beautiful rich mansion in Nermia, a big metropolitan city in the area of Tokyo.
