Drake surprised fans with a new music video on Wednesday for “You Broke My Heart” — and an unexpected cameo from country star Morgan Wallen.
The song was released as track 29 on the deluxe edition of Drake’s latest album, “For All the Dogs.” The accompanying visual opens with Drake and Wallen sitting at a restaurant, where they toast to the rapper’s recent breakup.
“I’m kinda glad she gone,” they both sing before clinking glasses.
The two men resolve “to see what else is out there.” But after they get into a car together, it’s promptly blown up by two women (Grace Matthews and Taylor Morris), who spend the rest of the video celebrating.

Wallen’s cameo was especially unexpected given his history of problematic behavior.
Throughout his rise to country stardom, Wallen has received backlash for partying during the pandemic and canceling concerts at the last minute. In 2021, Wallen was suspended by his record label after footage surfaced of him using the N-word. (He has since apologized.)
This isn’t the first time Drake has joined forces with a controversial figure. Last year, the rapper recruited NBA player Tristan Thompson — best known for repeatedly cheating on Khloe Kardashian — to costar in his music video for “Falling Back.”
Drake has also received backlash for collaborating with Chris Brown, who has repeatedly been accused of assault and abuse.
