Blackpink member Jennie is claiming it: 2024 is going to be her year!
On Instagram, Jennie shared a carousel of beautiful photos to say goodbye to 2023.
The post included snaps of the K-pop star holding a cake that says “Happy New Year,” Jennie posing in a snow park, a giant Christmas tree, and her pet dog Kuma, among others.
She also wore a black cap that says, “2024 is gonna be my year.”
Days before Christmas, Jennie launched her own label, Odd Atelier, which will focus on her promotions as a solo artist.
On Friday, Blackpink’s agency YG Entertainment announced that the four members did not renew their solo contracts with them, but will continue under the agency for their group activities.
Jennie is the first Blackpink member to establish a solo label after they renewed their group contract with YG Entertainment.
Jennie, together with fellow Blackpink members Lisa, Rosé, and Jisoo, debuted in 2016 with “Boombayah” and “Whistle.”
She made her solo debut in 2019 with the song “SOLO.” In October, Jennie released her new solo single “You and Me.”
