The Baltimore Ravens were fueled to their sixth straight win in a 56-19 trouncing of the Miami Dolphins by yet another sensational performance by franchise quarterback Lamar Jackson with what has famously become known as a ‘Jackson 5’. He finished 18-of-21 for 321 passing yards and five touchdowns with no interceptions with a perfect passer rating of 158.3 as the team clinched their first AFC North division title and the AFC No. 1 seed since 2019.

His outstanding outing as a passer was so impressive that NBA superstar and future first-ballot Hall of Famer LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers took notice and sounded off on social media about it. He mocked the viral term ‘quarterbacky’ which was used as a slight towards Jackson leading up to this game and paid him the ultimate form of respect by calling the two-time Pro Bowler “H.I.M.”

James is a four-time MVP winner himself and after Sunday, he believes that Jackson’s haters and detractors no longer have a leg to stand on and says there should no longer be a debate about whether the 2019 unanimous winner is worthy of winning the second of his career.
Ok so what y’all gone say about @Lj_era8 MVP nod now????!!! Always on some hatin 💩 when it comes to him. Man give him the trophy now and his 💐 💐

It’ll be interesting to see if there are still any holdouts refuting Jackson’s candidacy and rightful place as the frontrunner in the race for the prestigious honor. The sixth-year veteran signal-caller had already surpassed his previous career-high in passing yards last week and now has over 3600 through the air and over 800 on the ground with 29 total touchdowns. Not even Richard Sherman can deny those impressive numbers although they still don’t aptly encapsulate just how special of a season he has had this year.
Jackson was so locked in during the game that he didn’t even hear the roaring chants of “M-V-P” that the rowdy home crowd at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday. While he appreciates the love, all praise, and accolades remain far from the forefront of his mind as he remains a man on a mission on a team that’s doing the same by following his lead.

“I’m not really paying attention to the chants,” Jackson said. “The only thing that was on my mind was to finish the game and today we did.”
