Tiger Woods has brushed off concerns over his leg injuries multiple times in recent months but the golf legend completely silenced any worries with an unbelievable shot on Wednesday.
The 48-year-old, who announced his split from Nike on Monday, featured in a rare podcast appearance on Barstool Sports’ Fore Play podcast where he challenged the hosts Trent Ryan, Sam Riggs Bozoian and Frankie Borrelli to a long drive contest.
The 15-time major winner has battled various injuries over the years, most recently suffering with pain in his legs following his 2021 car crash which almost cost him his right lower limb.
But the PGA Tour star showed no signs of agony as, having let Riggs go first, he decided to one up the host by lowering himself to his knees to hit his attempt.
Woods left the trio stunned as he hit a perfect tee shot straight down the middle of the fairway while kneeling.

Nike said it was ‘a hell of a round, Tiger’ with the golfer wearing their brand as far back as 1992
Although a winner was never declared, Woods’ trick shot was clearly the most impressive and the jovial legend immediately rose to his feet and celebrated with the hosts.
Earlier in the video, the golf icon kindly gave instruction as each of the three hosts showed their swings to him with Frankie even leaving him stunned.
Woods’ appearance comes just two days after he confirmed he has parted ways with Nike following a 27-year partnership which saw him pocket a reported $500million.

However, despite question marks lingering over Woods’ future without Nike, he was still wearing his signature black and red with the Swoosh on his shirt and cap.
Speculation that an announcement on Woods’ replacement for Nike could come during the appearance grew after TaylorMade as replied to a teaser for the video, saying: ‘Stay Tuned.’
But there was no word on which brand Woods will be sporting in his post-Nike era on Wednesday either.
Woods made a remarkable return to competitive golf at The Masters in 2022, just 14 months after a single-car crash in February 2021 almost cost him his leg.

The golfing legend has struggled to walk the course since his 2021 horror car crash
However, the injuries he sustained during the accident made walking the course a struggle with him limping at times.
He battled through pain due to reaggravated plantar fasciitis from his 2021 car crash during a blustery third round at the undulated Augusta National before the elements forced him to withdraw, later having surgery on his ankle.
He underwent surgery in April to help with the injury and has kept a relatively low profile on and off the course since.
But speaking at the Hero World Challenge in November, Woods insisted that pain was no longer an issue as he vowed to play a tournament a month in 2024.
‘I can tell you this, I don’t have any of the pain that I had at Augusta or pre-that in my ankle,’ he said. ‘Other parts are taking the brunt of the load, so I’m a little bit more sore in other areas, but the ankle’s good. So that surgery was a success.’
