The new image posted by Jennie makes many fans believe that the female idol is preparing for her solo album.
Jennie – a member of the group BLACKPINK – recently posted a picture of a welcome card on her personal website. The card is said to come from the record label Chalice Recording Studio in Los Angeles (USA), hinting at a solo album in the near future.
The card clearly stated: “Let’s have a nice recording session”, and was signed by a person named James. Fans continue to speculate that the person who sent Jennie the card was James Fauntleroy – a Grammy Award-winning composer, famous for collaborating with a series of artists such as Drake, Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Beyoncé, Rihanna and Bruno Mars.

The rumor became even more believable when the composer himself also posted images from the Chalice recording studio, hinting at a potential musical partnership with the BLACKPINK member.
Previously, on the show The Seasons – Lee Hyori’s Red Carpet, Jennie also revealed her plan to release her first solo album. This move comes after the female idol parted ways with YG Entertainment for solo activities. Instead, the K-Pop star established a separate company called ODD ATELIER to freely carry out personal activities and promote himself more in the future.
Despite establishing her own company, Jennie still renewed the contract to work as BLACKPINK with YG Entertainment.
