Man United hero Marcus Rashford moves his mum to luxury £800,000 pad in leafy suburb

MANCHESTER UNITED’S latest hero Marcus Rashford has moved his mum and two brothers to a luxury £800,000 house in the leafy Wythenshawe suburb of the city.

The English striker, 18, grew up in that area of Manchester and was quick to give his mum a more comfortable pad after bursting onto the scene last year and earning himself a bumper pay day of £25,000-a-week.

Rashford – who netted United’s last-gasp winner against Hull on Saturday – always said to mum Melanie he would look after her – and he has moved her and his siblings just three miles away from the house they grew up in.

While very close to home, the scene could not be more other-wordly, moving from an urban estate to an grand, green mansion – complete with six bedrooms, sumptuous bathrooms and even a sauna.

There is a first-floor laundry room, slit-level master bedroom with separate dressing area, complete with ensuite as well as a double garage and large garden area.

However, Rashford is currently only renting the property from his mum and two brothers – Dane and Dwaine – for the whopping fee of £5,000-a-month.

Meanwhile, the England forward is reportedly building a secret £1million home in an undisclosed location as he looks for something a little more permanent.

Mum Melanie always supported son Marcus’ career – even playing football with him as a kid at the local park.

Yet after his incredible rise to fame last season, Melanie insisted Rash would be keeping his feet on the ground – even after become an instant United and England hero, netting on his debut for both sides.

She said: “Of course I’ll be doing my best to help him stay grounded.

“We are doing a great job as a family to keep his feet on the ground.

“We don’t do champagne and as you can see I’ve just come back from shopping.

“But we are certainly celebrating Marcus’ achievement.”

Meanwhile, former coach at his youth club – Fletcher Moss Rangers – Dave Horrocks confirmed Rashford’s down-to-earth nature.

He said: “Marcus comes form a lovely family. He is a smashing kid, very humble and so quiet and unassuming.

“He is not a Jack-the-lad type of person. If he ever starts acting bigger than he should be, well his brother Dwain will slap him down”.
